Status options refer to the request status of a case in HiLIS. For example, a sample which has been requested is given a status of ‘new’, which is raised to ‘screened’ upon the sample completing the screening process.
Some laboratories report cases during a Multi Disciplinary Team Meeting. Therefore, a single reporting stage is required. Some laboratories enter opinions, which are reviewed at the final diagnosis, and therefore multiple reporting stages and an authorisation stage is required.
Select ‘Edit’ to activate or inactivate the authorisation stage via the ‘authorised’ status option.
Click ‘Submit’ to save any changes.
