Add a new referral source. Options are:
Organisation code should be taken from the NHS "Organisation Data Service" libraries, available as links from the 'New Referral Source' page (eg hospital, practice, independant, prison, etc). The organisation code is normally 5 characters in length (eg RR801, B86044, etc).
Selection of the location type opens new form fields:
Details for these fields can normally be copied from the Organisation Data Service libraries used for obtaining the organsiation code. All fields are required.
When registering a new hospital, the 'display name' field shoud normally consist of the first part of the 'Details' section of the Organisation Data Service library used for obtaining the organsiation code.
A parent organisation should also be selected, normally this would have the same first 3 characters of the organisation code, eg RCF22 (Airedale General Hospital) would correspond to RCF :: Airedale NHS Trust. If the parent organisation is not available (eg new overseas referral source), a new one can be created using the link to 'New' on the 'Parent Organisation' field.
When registering a new practice, the first part of the Details section should be used for the 'practice name' field, and the rest of the Details section is used for the 'practice address' and 'post code' fields.
